How Many Splines? '489 Case, 8 3/4 Rear, 2 1/8" Yoke

So, how Many Splines, 10 or 29? '489 Case, 8 3/4 Rear, 2 1/8" Yoke.

Can you count it without removing the nut and ruining the pinion preset? Is it easier than that...'489 case ONLY came with 29 or only 10 spline yokes?

May be upgrading to 1350 U-Joints / D/S, etc. Need to order the new yoke, but don't plan on taking it apart 'til after it arrives.

If the pinion nut takes a 1 1/8 socket, it is a 10 spline. If the pinion nut takes a 1 1/4 or 1 5/16 socket, it is a 29 spline.
