Numbers on a dana 60?

I'm changing my truck to 3/4 ton but I'm having a hard time finding wheel cyl. kits since I don't know what year it is. The truck the diffs. came off of was a frame only. The local drive line shop told me if I give them the #'s on the 60 & the 44 they can tell the year. Anyone know?

Check the passenger side housing tube from the back, half way between the center casting and the backing plate. You will probably have to scrape off grease, paint and rust to see it. The stamping is pretty shallow.
