Axle Swap and Interchange Q's

Are the spring perches on a 4wd 8¾ the same width apart as a 2wd 8¾? I have a rear end out of a 4x4 truck with a 489 case and I know the brake drums are bigger than my 2wd (good thing), but the 4wd rear also has a bigger bolt pattern (looks like 5 on 5½)
I guess the brake issue can be worked around, but will it bolt up to my leaf springs? Both trucks are ½tons

if anyone is interested, both 4wd and 2wd housings are 59½" wide (backing plate to backing plate, and the spring perches are 43½" apart (on center)
