I've searched the web and all over this board but didn't find any estimates or hard facts. When we weighed them if i remember right the aluminum one was eight lbs lighter. rrsbdh I weight mine with a baby scale maybe not the scientific American Mag. special but I got eight pounds too. But you gotta remember it comes right off the nose of the car and they look cool too. The starter is worth it believe me. When you lift it and turn the key you'll thank yourself both ways.
