Rallye Dash Clock Anything special to test this while I have my dash apart? They are usually baked so is there any cost effective repair/raplacement for it? Thanks!

If you put a 12v supply to it(the case is ground} you should here one click this is a small solenoid that winds up an ordinary clockwork movement albeit not very much. If you don't hear this usually just cleaning the points will do the trick.Once the solenoid is working but the clock won't run I have had good results with just a light shot of WD40 at the mechanism. Otherwise just junk the whole lot and adapt one of those clock movements from radio shack but extend the power supply so the pen cell can be replaced easy.

Sounds interesting. Ever replace it with the radio shack unit yourself? Happen to have a part number or reference?

Would this work with a Borg clock from a '64?

RICHARD: Pure genious! I took my Borg clock apart, cleaned the contacts up with my small dremel, sprayed the tic toc mechanism, applied 12 volts to it and it now works like a charm!!

Here's what would be a clock from a 69 Coronet, if it only had hands , next to it is a tachometer which occupies the same space.
