You will have one more problem with clutch linkage if you go with a 4spd.Cross shaft also has to be moved back.Screws up everything.I know,I've been there. Alright with a cable shift torqueflite. The steering box stays in the same place. The mounting holes are further forwars. I was going to do this swap on my 63 wagon. The problem I encountered was that the floor pan is shaped like the trans and would not clear the trans when set back. Shoemacher has a trans mount to use when setting the engine back.
