1979 Chrysler 300, bought new in Aug of 1979. EPA sticker of 12 mpg and it was. Middle of odd / even gas rationing in 1979. I bought this car because it had AC, a center console, sure grip and could spin the tires.
Made it through the 4 years of car loan payments, but it turned out to be a very dependable car.
360, 727 trans, Put 187,000 miles on this car with out a major repair. Pulled my race car trailer with it many years and sold it during my financial troubles.
My first and only new car to date.
