Description: My first car, paid $1100 for it in August of 1968. Blew up the original 273 hi-po motor in November of 1972 at 150K, been a 340 since. Car now has about 300,000 miles on it. Originally white with a black stripe, now Guards Red, painted by me in 1990 (pics taken two weeks ago). Present motor has 72 forged crank, 71 block and 73 heads, MP 450/455 lift hydraulic cam, RPM intake, 750 Holley, hi-po 340 manifolds. Later trans with original 65 guts and 3.09 low gear. Disc brakes, driveshaft, 8 3/4 rear with 3.23 sure grip and rear springs are from my Mom's old Duster 340, which my brother rolled around 1980 or so. Runs mid-13's at 103 for now.
