Here are some pics of my 66 Barracuda. It started life as a /6 automatic car, but now it has a '69 340 with stock bottom end, a Hughes 3038 cam, RPM Air Gap intake, and a Speed Demon 650 cfm carb. I upgraded to a 4-speed manual Overdrive trans, a 3.91 SureGrip 8 3/4 rear with Moser axles, 6-leaf springs, KYB gas shocks all around, plus front disc brakes and a sway bar. Underneath is a 2.5" -> 3" dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers. This was my first car project and I did all the mechanical work myself except for the exhaust. My goal was to build a "spirited driver" and I must say I'm very pleased with the results. I hope to race it as soon as I get a few bugs worked out. Thanks for all the help Moparts!
